Capcom has announced that The Mercenaries mode for Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on April 7th, providing players with a two-week wait for the fan-favorite horde-style mode to arrive in-game. The date was revealed at the conclusion of the latest Resident Evil 4 Remake launch trailer released by Capcom today, which is available for viewing below.

During Sony’s first 2023 State of Play last month, Capcom confirmed that The Mercenaries would be a free post-release update for players. Resident Evil 4 Remake, which is described as “the series’ most relentlessly exciting adventure rebuilt, refined, and realized to the full extent of its enormous potential,” is already available today and has earned a perfect score of 10 out of 10 in IGN’s review.
